Field Service Technician – Compressed Air Systems

Atlantic Compressors, Inc – Salem, VA 24153

Responsibilities:

• Perform service on industrial compressed air systems utilizing safe work practices
• Preventative Maintenance
• Emergency Repairs – including after hours and weekends as needed
• Troubleshoot all components of an industrial compressed air system:
  • Air Compressor
  • Dryers (refrigerated and desiccant)
  • Master Controllers
  • Electrical & Mechanical systems
• Work independently
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly
• Be proactive in helping the company grow by seeking to acquire new service business, maintenance contracts and parts/accessory sales
• Be responsible for the tools, vehicles and equipment furnished by the company
• Good communication skills to find solutions for repair, installation, or service issues
• Physically able to perform all aspects of the position

Qualifications:

• Two (2) Years experience in an industrial field service position
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Excellent troubleshooting ability
• Own your own general hand tools
• Need to be resourceful and demonstrate ability to get the job done with minimal supervision or direction
• Refrigeration certification a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• PC literate with general Microsoft products
• Clean driving record and background
