Current Job Opening:
Field Service Technician - Compressed Air Systems
Atlantic Compressors, Inc – Salem, VA 24153
Responsibilities:
- Perform service on industrial compressed air systems utilizing safe work practices
- Preventative Maintenance
- Emergency Repairs - including after hours and weekends as needed
- Troubleshoot all components of an industrial compressed air system:
- Air Compressor
- Dryers (refrigerated and desiccant)
- Master Controllers
- Electrical & Mechanical systems
- Work independently
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly
- Be proactive in helping the company grow by seeking to acquire new service business, maintenance contracts and parts/accessory sales
- Be responsible for the tools, vehicles and equipment furnished by the company
- Good communication skills to find solutions for repair, installation, or service issues
Qualifications:
- Two (2) years experience in an industrial field service position preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting ability
- Own your own general hand tools
- Need to be resourceful and demonstrate ability to get the job done with minimal supervision or direction
- Physically able to perform all aspects of the position
