Compressed Air & Vacuum Systems
Air Compressor & Vacuum Pump Sales

Compressed air has been called the fourth (4th) utility. However, unlike water, electricity, and natural gas; the end user is responsible for the purchase and upkeep of the equipment. Compressing air is inherently inefficient – it takes 6Hp of electricity to produce 1Hp of work from a standard rotary screw compressor operating at 100-psig.

That is why all of us here at Atlantic Compressors, Inc. keep current on all the advances in efficiency and reliability. We seek out continued education through our vendors, Compressed Air & Gas Institute (CAGI) as well as The Compressed Air Challenge. We have the only Department of Energy qualified AirMaster+ system auditor and CAGI certified systems engineer in Southwest Virginia.

A majority of issues that end users encounter in a compressed air system could be avoided if the system was initially sized, equipped and installed properly. We take a consultative system-wide approach which begins with a thorough understanding of how each end user utilizes their compressed air system. We educate our clients on the proper selection, use and maintenance requirements of each component in the system. We strive for an open dialogue and welcome questions on why we select certain equipment and install them in specific ways. The result is a compressed air system that will bring you years of efficient and reliable operation.

Once the system is in place, our expert Service Department helps you to maintain the efficiency and reliability that our Sales Department has designed into your system. Our service technicians are factory trained on Boge, Elgi, Palatek, Chicago Pneumatic and Sullair. In addition, we are highly capable of servicing Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Ingersoll Rand, Quincy, Gardner Denver and many others.
